Hope you enjoyed the first football weekend! How ever you celebrated we hope you displayed your Nittany Lion Pride! Now it’s almost time to take on Alabama!
We want to extend our warmest congratulations to former Vice-President Kate Schandler and husband Matthew on their new addition to the family, Zachary. This new Nittany Lion is a joy and we wish them the best!

There is also an exciting opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the November 12th home game versus Nebraska. This will be the last chance to see the Nittany Lions play at Beaver Stadium this season. It will also be Nebraska’s first BigTen appearance in Happy Valley. This ticket raffle hosted by the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter runs until October 29th!
- Tickets are 1 for $10, 3 for $20
- Winner is determined by a random drawing
- Tickets can be mailed or delivered in person (if near Pittsburgh Metro Area)
